We do not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required to do so by law. We do not send your information to charities unless either you ask us to or HM Revenue & Customs is auditing the charity and requires the addresses of its donors. In that situation, the charity is contractually obliged not to use your information for marketing purposes or any purpose other than fulfilling the requirements of the audit.
Please note that when you comment on a Fundraising Profile or write an Update for your own Fundraising Profile, the information is visible to anybody who visits that webpage on WillWeMakeIt.com.
Please note that when you create a Challenge, the Challenge is visible to anybody who visits that webpage on WillWeMakeIt.com, even if the Challenge requires users to have an Activation Code.
What we do with the information we collect
We use this information to understand the charity donations landscape better and provide you with a better service. Use of the data includes:
- Internal record keeping
- Improving our website, marketing and our innovation
- Customising the website according to your interests
- Sending you notifications about your account, e.g. when you have received a Friend Request. You can change your notification settings from the Privacy
- Settings in your User Home.
- Occasionally getting in touch with you through WillWeMakeIt.com or by email to inform you about parties, events, improvements to our system, market research or opportunities we think you will like!
Your use of WillWeMakeIt
When you create an account or fundraising profile on WillWeMakeIt your information is visible to the general public. Therefore you should carefully consider what information you display about yourself. We have no control over the behaviour of other users on WillWeMakeIt.com therefore we make no guarantee that any content you post on WillWeMakeIt.com will not be viewed by unauthorised persons. The information about the charities and fundraisers you support is displayed on your User Home. If you suspect that a charity worker is using this information to try and get you to donate, please let us know and we will take steps to suspend or terminate the user's account. Email privacy@WillWeMakeIt.com to report any such behaviour. Please note that when you create a Fundraising Profile on WillWeMakeIt.com, other users can comment on your profile.
You can edit the information in your User Home by logging in to your account and editing your details. If you wish to deactivate your account, email privacy@WillWeMakeIt.com.
Security
Donations on WillWeMakeIt.com are conducted securely through PayPal who use data encryption to ensure your online donations are secure.
We are committed to ensuring that other personal information on WillWeMakeIt is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have taken precautions to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Nonetheless, we do not guarantee the protection of such information against loss, misuse or alteration. Never send your password or card details to another WillWeMakeIt user or staff member.
How we use cookies

If you are aged 13 to 18, we recommend that you do not accept Friend Requests from people you do not know, share personal information with people you do not know and under no circumstances arrange to meet people whom you have met on WillWeMakeIt. If you are participating in a Challenge, we strongly recommend that you obtain permission from your parents or guardian before participating in the Challenge. Should you be required to attend an event as part of your Challenge, we strongly recommend that a parent or guardian accompanies you to the event and for the duration of the event.
Controlling your personal information
You can change, modify or delete information previously provided by logging into WillWeMakeIt.com and visiting the appropriate page or by sending an email to privacy@WillWeMakeIt.com. You may also deactivate your account and delete your information from the studentbeans.com database by sending an email to privacy@WillWeMakeIt.com. The message must include your full name, email address and contact information in order to allow WillWeMakeIt to verify your identity. It is important to note, however, that once you have shared your information with another WillWeMakeIt.com user or any third party, WillWeMakeIt cannot recover that information, even if you later decide to deactivate your WillWeMakeIt.com account.
